Highway Staffing - PennDOT Projects

Sub Slab Depressurization System Install

Brief Description: In response to VOCs detected in sub-slab soil samples, CTIS installed a sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS) at an active industrial facility to reduce vapor intrusion risk. The project scope included suction point installation, vertical risers, overhead and exterior piping, fan systems, bollards, and comprehensive cleaning and sealing of the slab to stop sub slab vapors from migrating into the facility.
Data Center Chiller System T&D

Brief Description: CTIS supported a Fortune 500 client’s data center commissioning by providing transportation and disposal (T&D) services for over 330,000 gallons of water accumulated during chiller system flushing operations.
HDPE Pipeline Replacement

Brief Description: CTIS replaced an existing pipeline at an active petroleum terminal, adhering to stringent safety protocols throughout the project. Scope of work included waste transportation and disposal, demolition and abandonment of carbon steel groundwater piping, construction and installation of new steel aboveground piping and supports, below-grade HDPE pipe installation, and comprehensive pressure and leak testing upon completion.
Containment Pad Build

Brief Description: CTIS was responsible for the construction of a new 5,000 sq ft containment pad build inside an active industrial facility. We were responsible for the removal of existing site debris, capping lines, adding new piping to an active oil water separator, and then pouring and finishing 125 yards of concrete.
Vault Repair / HDPE Replacement

Brief Description: CTIS executed the removal and replacement of existing concrete vaults at a Superfund site on a former manufacturing property. The scope also involved upgrading over 500 linear feet of 1” and 1.5” HDPE piping to 2” HDPE, enhancing system capacity and reliability.

Pipeline ROW Mowing & Maintenance

Lead Remediation

Brief Description: CTIS supplied trained confined-space entry personnel to safely clean two asphalt mixing aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) at an active roofing materials manufacturing facility. The AST’s are used to mix / agitate hot liquid asphalt and the project required had a large amount of risks that needed to be mitigated to perform safely.
AST Demo/Removal
