Incinerator Decontamination – Wastewater Treatment Plant

CTIS was contracted to perform the specialized decontamination of a former incinerator room at an active wastewater treatment facility in West Haven, Connecticut. This project involved the removal of residual ash, extraction and handling of 100 silica sandbags, and full-service transportation and disposal (T&D) of all waste materials in compliance with environmental regulations.

Working within a live municipal utility environment, CTIS prioritized safety, environmental stewardship, and minimal operational disruption, delivering the project on time and within scope.

This effort showcases CTIS’s capabilities in complex industrial cleaning and environmental remediation for public sector infrastructure.
