Aluminum Phosphide Transportation & Disposal – Hazardous Waste Management
In 2025, CTIS was contracted to perform the transportation and disposal (T&D) of 12 hazardous waste drums containing aluminum phosphide residues. These materials were generated after the decontamination of a box trailer that had experienced an accidental pesticide discharge, requiring immediate containment and compliant disposal.
CTIS mobilized certified hazardous materials technicians to properly characterize, package, label, transport, and dispose of the waste in accordance with EPA, DOT, and RCRA regulations. All activities were completed under strict health and safety protocols to prevent exposure and ensure full environmental compliance.
This project underscores CTIS’s capability in hazardous waste management, emergency response, and regulatory compliance, providing clients with safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for sensitive environmental incidents.
